     not really, i’ve been using the US plug ever since I ordered my first MacBook from the States and have never had an issue. Works better than the Euro plug since when I travel to Lebanon or anywhere in the world the US plug has a higher chance of fitting into the sockets.

       I prefer not having to use an extra piece between the adapter and the socket. An extra thing to carry around and worry about losing or damaging or something

         Neither do I, I just plug mine in straight into the socket but that’s cuz I use an extension cord

           lol oh ok fair enough. but I have a macbook air and I take it with me most places. I might actually get one when they start selling the euro plug
